Boat Tours Amalfi Coast is a local, family-run company based in Salerno. We run private boat tours along the Amalfi Coast and offer Amalfi Coast boat rental with skipper for couples, families, friends and cruise passengers.
From the sea the coast makes sense: villages stacked on the cliffs, lemon terraces, Saracen towers and coves you cannot reach by road. Your skipper picks the route for the day's sea and light, tells you the stories behind each village and finds the quiet spots for a swim.
Starting from Salerno means a calmer, easier day. You skip the crowded harbours, board a few minutes from the train station and cruise terminal, and still reach Amalfi in under an hour.

The day with Eliseo was very nice and relaxing. As a skipper he is in control of everything and makes you feel relaxed. Because it is a private rental boat, you are given the freedom to decide where to go, where to stop for swimming etc. Eliseo can communicate well in English, which makes the day even better. The price for a full day is competitive and very reasonable. We had a blast and highly recommend a boat trip with Eliseo.

Where do your boat tours on the Amalfi Coast depart from?
Our base is Salerno port (Molo Manfredi), right next to the cruise terminal and a short walk from Salerno railway station. You can also start from wherever suits you: Vietri sul Mare, Cetara, Maiori, Minori, Amalfi, Conca dei Marini, Praiano or Positano, with a small fuel supplement: €20 from Vietri or Cetara, €50 from Maiori, Minori, Amalfi or Conca dei Marini, €100 from Praiano or Positano. We share the exact pier and a map pin on WhatsApp after booking.
Are the tours private?
Yes. Every tour is private: the boat, the skipper and the route are for your group only. Travelling alone or as a couple and want to spend less? Join our waiting list for shared tours and we will match you with other guests who want to split the cost of the boat.
How do I book and pay?
Send your request online or on WhatsApp. We confirm availability, then send you a secure SumUp link to pay a 10% deposit, which guarantees your tour. You pay the rest on the day. If you cancel at least 48 hours before the tour, we refund your deposit; later cancellations keep the deposit. If we cancel for bad weather, you get a new date or a full refund, deposit included.
What is included in the price?
Skipper, fuel for the planned route, swim stops, snorkelling masks, beach towels and bottled water. Food, drinks and extras can be added when you book.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Safety comes first. If the skipper decides the sea is not suitable, you can move the tour to another date or receive a full refund.
Can cruise passengers book a short tour from Salerno?
Yes. Our cruise excursions, from 2 hours to a full 7-hour day, start a few minutes from the cruise terminal, and we plan your return around your all-aboard time.
Do I need a boat licence for an Amalfi Coast boat rental?
No. All our boats come with a licensed local skipper, so you can relax, swim and enjoy the coast.
